The English soap Company was founded in 2000 by Bob & Juliet after discovering a large number of antique soap molds located in a disused soap factory in Kent.
Inspired by the wonderful patterns of a bygone era, they decided to recreate the luxurious soaps they remembered from childhood. For several years, they have been working to produce fragrances to make the perfect soaps. A soap that is soft and silky gives moisture instead of drying the skin and also to produce a luxurious scent that lasts until the whole soap is finished.
Their soaps are made from pure vegetable oils and generous amounts of vegetable glycerin and shea butter from the African shea wood to make the soap both soften and care for the skin.
To make the soap soft and silky smooth, they use triple pressing and refining to ensure that the mixture is completely smooth before it is pressed. All their perfumes are made in England by experts, perfumers and have been designed especially for The English soap Company.
